We felt at ease with Jo from start to finish during our shoot. It was so low stress that it was hard to believe she got any “good photos”. And then we got the photos back and cried. Once you’ve been photographed by Jo, it’s hard to work with anyone else. I started working with Jo for my music projects, and I can hardly describe what it feels like to see myself through her eyes. We sought out Jo for engagement photos because her style and quality really spoke to us. We were looking for a photographer with an editorial yet fun perspective, and Jo perfectly fit the bill.
Jo was not only a master behind the camera, but also a true professional. She arrived early, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made us feel at ease throughout the session. It was clear that after learning about the concept we were after, she had put in meticulous planning and research, incorporating our ideas seamlessly into the shoot.
We were a bit apprehensive that we would wind up with awkward and stuffy engagement photos because we both tend to freeze up in front of a lens.
